The reason why we decided to complete this task of practicing the lip singing of the entire song was purely because it would be a good way of making sure that Karina, who is playing our artist, knows all of the words. A prior task allowed all three of us to try out lip singing and actually being in front of the camera in order to see who would be suitable for playing the role of the artist and actress. Karina was amazing at being confident and portraying emotions to the camera and therefore we selected her as our artist. However, when we completed our practice filming Karina struggled to remember all of the words due to the complexity of the variations in pace of the song and because of the pressure. This task has allowed her to lip sing all of the lyrics to the camera. This is going to be our main focus for the video as we all feel that the performance will make the video more marketable and realistic when compared to existing products.
It is clear that Karina did not get the timing of lip syncing correct and especially at the beginning. This does not matter as it is not the real video, we have all still learnt something from completing the task and me, Frankie and Karina will all be taking part in editing to ensure that the lip syncing is accurate. She now knows exactly which parts of the song she needs to exaggerate with her mouth movements in order to make the lip singing clear to the audience.
We can conclude from this task that Karina knows all of the words to the song and that on the filming days Karina will be able to perform in the way that we want her to. This task has also given Karina herself the confidence to continue on in being our artist Faith. Karina also had the chance to experiment with editing techniques such as change the colours of the shots: which is something that we have all suggested to do.

I now know Karina was the best in front of the camera and that is why she has completed the lip syncing for your song. It also give the viewers more depth to the song you have chose. I also really like the effects you have used on the video, it makes it less boring to watch the whole way though. Well done for including what didn't work - it shows you are aware of problems and what needs to change for them to be right!
